Periodontal treatments are surgical and non-surgical procedures aiming to restore the health of the soft tissue (gingival) and bone. Periodontal treatments may vary based on the cause of the problem (periodontal disease, trauma, functional trauma etc). The main aim is to respect and preserve existing biology and to achieve the desired result with the minimum amount of treatment.
All procedures are performed under local anaesthetic, with optional sedation for the anxious ones. Pre-medication and post-medication protocols assure minimal post-operative sensitivity.
